Overview
Rubbing the oil over the body before sun exposure is how a tanning oil is used. This one pairs cocoa butter and coconut oil with vitamin E, and the pack includes two bottles of the same oil.
Two bottles of a tropical-scented, moisturizing oil are the reason to buy it. The limit is that no sun protection factor is listed, so skin gets no sunscreen from it.
Who it's for
Sun lovers who apply their own sunscreen separately and want a moisturizing, scented oil fit this pack. Anyone burning easily should not rely on it for protection.
Pros and cons
- Two bottles in the pack
- Cocoa butter and coconut oil moisturize
- Vitamin E antioxidant
- No sun protection listed
- Oily finish on the skin
- Tropical scent only
Performance notes
Oil coats the skin, slows water loss and gives a glossy finish, which makes the tan look deeper. It does not filter ultraviolet light, so burn risk is unchanged without a separate sunscreen. Added butters and antioxidants give moisture to skin that dries in the sun.
