Overview
KeaBabies makes a portable diaper changing pad designed for travel and car use, built from waterproof polyester and weighing just 0.57 pounds. Its large size is meant to give a full changing surface away from home.
A changing pad like this earns its keep by folding down small enough for a diaper bag while still being large enough to actually lay a baby on, and the waterproof polyester surface is there to contain the inevitable mess mid-change. At barely over half a pound, it adds little weight to a bag already loaded with wipes and diapers.
- Waterproof polyester material
- Large changing surface
- 0.57 lb portable design
- Built for travel and car use
Who it's for
Parents who change diapers on the go, in the car, or anywhere without a dedicated changing table will get daily use from this. Anyone who only ever changes at home on a fixed changing table has less need for a portable pad.
Pros and cons
- Waterproof polyester wipes clean
- Large size for a full change
- Very light at 0.57 pounds
- No padding thickness or fold-size details listed
Performance notes
The waterproof polyester surface is the main functional spec, wiping clean after a leak or mess, and the large sizing gives more room than a compact pad. At 0.57 pounds it is light enough to leave in a diaper bag permanently.
