Overview
Badger Basket built this chest with a roomy top bin for larger toys and two reversible baskets underneath for small items. The lid has a safety support hinge, and the top works as a seat.
Two storage levels keep small pieces from sinking to the bottom, and the bench top adds seating in a bedroom or playroom. Rubber and soft plastic toys can mark the finish.
Who it's for
Parents with a playroom or bedroom that needs a seat as well as storage will get both from this piece. Those who store soft balls long term or want no assembly should consider another chest.
Pros and cons
- Chest and bench in one
- Two reversible baskets
- Safety support hinge on the lid

- Heavy once assembled
Performance notes
Baskets below sort small toys, while larger ones go in the top bin, which opens to full vertical. The hinge holds the lid up so it cannot slam. Baskets can be flipped to show the other color.
