Overview
The Danby DBMW0721BBS is a compact 0.7 cu ft countertop microwave rated at 700 watts, with 10 power levels, a 10-inch glass turntable, and six auto-cook options including popcorn, potato, and pizza settings. It comes in stainless steel, built for small spaces.
Its small footprint is the main selling point, fitting narrow counter space or shelving where larger microwaves will not go, and Danby sells the same body in other finishes and slightly larger capacities. Because it runs at 700 watts rather than the 1000-plus watts common on larger microwaves, cook times run longer for the same task. Controls include express cook buttons for 1 to 6 minutes, a 30-second add button, defrost by time or weight, and a child lock.
- 0.7 cu ft capacity at 700 watts
- 10 power levels and 10-inch glass turntable
- 6 auto-cook options including popcorn and pizza
- Child lock and defrost by time or weight
Who it's for
Suited to dorm rooms, small kitchens, offices, or anyone replacing a narrow-space microwave where exact dimensions matter. Less suited to anyone who wants to reheat large plates quickly, since the lower wattage and smaller cavity slow things down compared to full-size units.

- Quiet operation reported by multiple owners
- Even heating results for its size
