Overview

A 30 lb bag of Wag Wholesome Grains dry dog food made with salmon and brown rice, an Amazon private label formula for adult dogs of medium breed size.

Unlike the grain free options in this batch, Wag leans on brown rice as a wholesome grain rather than avoiding grains altogether, which suits dogs without a grain sensitivity who still want a named protein like salmon leading the recipe. As an Amazon Brand product, it is positioned as a value alternative to name brand kibble at a large 30 lb bag size.

Who it's for

Fits owners of adult, medium sized dogs wanting a large bag of grain-inclusive salmon kibble at a value price point. Owners of puppies, large breed dogs, or dogs needing a grain free diet should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pros

Large 30 lb bag size
Salmon as the named flavor with brown rice
Calcium included for bone support

Cons

Labeled for medium breed adults only, not puppies or large breeds

Performance notes

The kibble is formulated around salmon as the named flavor with calcium included for bone support, and the listing calls out immune support and bone health as the targeted benefits rather than a specialized digestive or skin formula. It is labeled for adult dogs of medium breed size specifically, not puppies or large breed dogs with different growth needs.
