Overview
Hooking onto a trailer tongue with its two inch ball mount, this electric dolly moves trailers under motor power while the operator steers. A jack lever raises the coupler onto the ball, and the frame is alloy steel.
A motor and battery replace pushing a trailer by hand, which matters for tight driveways and lots. The limitation is capacity: the stated trailer and tongue weights are modest, and the contents list does not name a charger.
Who it's for
Owners of small and mid-size trailers who maneuver in garages and tight lots. Operators of heavier boats and campers should check tongue weight against the rating.
Pros and cons
- Motor assists moving the trailer
- Adjustable ball attachment
- Assembly hardware and manual included
- Alloy steel build
- Modest weight limits
- Charger not named in the box contents
- Heavy to move without power
Performance notes
The motor drives the dolly forward and back while the operator steers, so the rating that matters is tongue weight on the ball as well as total trailer weight. Battery capacity limits how many moves per charge, and the jack lever sets the coupler height.
