Overview
A 24 lb bag of Natural Balance's Limited Ingredient adult dry dog food, built around salmon and sweet potato with no poultry, corn, wheat or soy in the recipe. It is aimed at dogs with food sensitivities rather than general feeding.
Limited ingredient diets work by narrowing the protein and carb sources a dog eats, which makes it easier to identify or avoid trigger ingredients. Natural Balance leans on that logic here, skipping grain and poultry entirely and adding flaxseed rather than a longer additive list.
- Salmon and sweet potato recipe
- Grain-free, soy-free, corn-free formula
- 24 lb bag for adult dogs
- No artificial flavors or preservatives
Who it's for
Owners of adult dogs with known or suspected sensitivities to chicken, grain or common fillers. Not designed for puppies, and dogs without sensitivities may not need the limited ingredient premium.
Pros and cons
- Grain-free and poultry-free recipe
- No artificial colors or flavors
- Large 24 lb bag reduces reorders
- Premium price point for limited ingredient diets
- Not formulated for puppies
Performance notes
The formula avoids corn, wheat, soy and poultry while adding flaxseed, and it is marketed as vet-recommended for dogs with ingredient sensitivities. No artificial colors, flavors or preservatives are used, which keeps the ingredient list short and traceable.
