Overview
This is a 5 inch white vinyl end cap made for Amerimax gutter systems, sold to cap off an open gutter run rather than to replace a full section. It suits homeowners patching a broken or missing cap on a 5-inch vinyl profile.
- Vinyl construction resists corrosion and weathering
- Bonded silicone double seal
- Matches the Amerimax gutter profile
- White finish for a clean exterior look
Who it's for
Fits anyone doing gutter repair on a 5-inch vinyl channel, whether patching storm damage or swapping a leaking original cap. Not for metal or 6-inch gutter systems.
Pros and cons
- Seals tighter than older foam-gasketed caps
- Doubles as a replacement for the discontinued Genova RW 102
- Simple fit against the Amerimax profile
- Only sized for 5-inch channels, not 6-inch
- White finish only, no color options
Performance notes
The cap uses a silicone double seal bonded directly to the piece, replacing the strip of foam glued into older caps. That bonded seal is what buyers point to for a tighter, longer-lasting fit against the gutter channel, versus foam that can compress or peel over time.
