Overview
A hobbyist who wants a battle-ready model gets a metal King Tiger with a steel-gear gearbox, tracks, sprocket and idler wheels and a barrel. A smoke generator, BB pellets and an infrared combat set are in the kit.
A long accessory list and a metal build are the reasons to choose it over a plastic tank. The limits are the hobby learning curve, a smoke liquid that may not ship to every country and a manual the seller says not to trust.
Who it's for
Experienced RC fans who enjoy tinkering and multi-player tank battles. Newcomers who rely on a manual, and buyers in regions where smoke liquid cannot ship, should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Metal gearbox, tracks and wheels
- Smoke generator included
- Infrared battle transmitter and receiver
- BB pellets included
- Manual may be wrong or outdated
- Smoke liquid may not ship everywhere
- Age range not clearly stated
Performance notes
A steel-gear gearbox and metal tracks carry the weight of the model, while the infrared transmitter and receiver let tanks score hits on each other. The 1800mAh pack sets run time, and the seller notes larger packs are available on request.
