Overview
SMACO's S400 packs a one liter aluminum cylinder into a compact black body. It is described as a reusable mini diving tank, and the listing adds little else about how it is filled or carried.
A small size and aluminum body are the only firm facts, which makes it a product to research before buying. Pressure rating, valve type, fill method and dive time are all missing from the listing.
Who it's for
Divers looking for a small air source, and who will verify pressure and fill method with the seller, get a compact aluminum tank. Anyone who expects long dive times or a standard scuba cylinder should note how small one liter is.
Pros and cons
- Compact one liter size
- Working pressure is not listed
- Fill method unspecified
- No dive time stated
Performance notes
Air volume, which depends on pressure as well as the one liter size, sets how long the tank lasts, and neither is described here. A small cylinder holds little air, so confirm how long it lasts before relying on it.
