Overview
Plated cogs form the core of this Shimano Deore ten speed cassette, with the finish added for resilience. The listing is short, with a model number and a note that it comes in two ratios.
Shimano's Deore name and a ten speed layout suit riders upgrading a trail bike. The ratio ambiguity is the main concern, because the listing allows either a mid or a larger top cog and the ratio decides how easy the lowest gear is.
Who it's for
Riders on a ten speed trail or mountain drivetrain who want Deore build and finish get a standard part. Anyone who needs a specific top cog, or who runs a different speed count, should confirm the exact version first.
Pros and cons
- Ten speed Deore cassette
- Plated finish adds resilience
- Aimed at performance riders
- Exact ratio not specified
- Mount type field looks wrong
- Tooth list is not provided
Performance notes
The top cog size sets the easiest gear, so the choice between the two ratios matters on steep climbs. The plated finish is described as adding resilience.
