Overview
RIDGID R87547B - a ridgid orange saw.
A 19,000 RPM rating and a compact 2.3-pound body point toward a small, high-speed cutting tool rather than a heavy framing saw. The 3-inch capacity and high speed steel spec suggest it is built for precise, lighter material cuts rather than deep ripping.
- 18-volt battery powered saw
- 19,000 RPM rated speed
- 3-inch cutting capacity
- High speed steel construction
Who it's for
Fits users who need a light, portable cordless saw for cuts up to around the 3-inch mark. Not the choice for large stock or continuous heavy-duty cutting, where a corded or higher-capacity saw holds up better.
Pros and cons
- Cordless 18-volt design
- High 19,000 RPM rated speed
- Compact at 2.3 pounds
- 3-inch cutting capacity limits it to smaller material
- Battery not confirmed as included
Performance notes
At 19,000 RPM and 32.4 watts of motor power, this saw is tuned for speed over brute force, fitting a smaller-capacity cutting tool rather than a heavy framing saw. The 3-inch capacity spec marks the practical ceiling for material thickness it is built to cut.
