Solid for occasional craft and repair use at its price, but a minority of units run hot or clog, so it is not one to rely on for a paid workshop.

Overview
The Mr. Pen GG01 is a compact hot glue gun bundled with glue sticks, sized for small hands and aimed at school crafts, DIY repairs and quick fixes rather than fine detail work.
The listing promises 30 sticks but at least one buyer counted closer to 38, so treat the exact stick count as approximate rather than fixed. It is priced as a budget alternative to name brand glue guns, and most buyers who compare it that way come away satisfied, though a few report the gun itself failing rather than the glue.
- Bundled with roughly 30 glue sticks
- Compact size built for smaller hands
- Ergonomic handle with easy-squeeze trigger
- Works on wood, metal, plastic and fabric
Who it's for
Fits kids' craft projects, classroom kits and casual home fixes where a small grip and low price matter more than fine line control. Not suited to detail work that needs a precision tip or to heavy repeated workshop use.
Pros and cons
- Small size suits kids and tight spaces
- Heats up quickly with an off switch
- Good value versus name brand guns
- Glue comes out in blobs, not fine lines
- No way to see remaining glue level
- Some units clog or overheat
