Overview
Not a wire-bristle brush, the Q-Swiper uses a stainless steel scraper head with spunlace wipes to clean grates, griddles and smokers. A plastic handle with a rubber grip carries it.
Skipping loose bristles removes the risk of metal strands ending up in food, and the wipe supply offers a lot of cleaning passes. The spec table names only a handle as included, so confirm that the wipes ship with it.
Who it's for
A home cook who cleans grates, a griddle or a smoker and prefers a wipe-based method. Someone who scrubs heavy buildup with a stiff wire brush should expect a different feel.
Pros and cons
- Scraper built in
- Supply of wipes in the highlight
- Rubber grip handle
- Box list names only a handle
- Wipes versus liquid cleaner unclear
- Medium firmness may not suit heavy buildup
- Dimensions are not listed
Performance notes
The scraper handles stuck-on residue while the wipes lift grease and grime, so results depend on how many wipes a job uses. Firmness is listed as medium, so very heavy carbon buildup may need extra passes.
