Overview
Sensor Dry sets the cycle time and temperature in this Samsung electric dryer, so a large load comes out dry without being overdone. The front load drum opens through a door that can be hinged on either side.
Households get a big drum, a wide spread of presets and an ADA-listed design with a door that swings either way. The open door needs a lot of depth, so measure the room before ordering.
Who it's for
Family laundry rooms with electric service suit the large drum and presets. Tight closets should check the open-door depth first.
Pros and cons
- Large drum for bulky loads
- Sensor Dry avoids over-drying
- Ten drying presets
- Five heat settings
- Large depth with door open
- Warranty limited to one year
- Venting details not listed
Performance notes
Sensor Dry tunes the cycle length and heat to the load, which spares fabric from excess heat. The range of heat settings lets delicate items dry at lower temperatures.
