Overview
An 88 by 88 inch queen comforter set from CozyLux, sized for a 60 by 80 inch mattress up to 14 inches deep, with a 240 GSM down-alternative fill under a brushed microfiber cover and six coordinating pieces included.
CozyLux is specific about fit: on a 10 to 14 inch mattress the 88 by 88 comforter drapes about 14 inches down each side, and a 98 by 98 oversized queen version exists for anyone who wants more drop toward the floor. The 240 GSM fill under a 90 GSM cover is built as a lightweight all-season comforter rather than a heavy winter duvet, so it suits warm sleepers and warm bedrooms better than someone wanting maximum insulation. It ships vacuum-sealed and needs 24 to 48 hours to fully loft after unpacking, or a short low-heat tumble dry with dryer balls to speed that up.
- 88 in x 88 in comforter fits 10-14 in deep queen mattresses
- 240 GSM down-alternative fill, 90 GSM brushed microfiber cover
- 7-piece set with 14 in deep-pocket fitted sheet
- OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified
Who it's for
Works for a primary bedroom, guest room, dorm or RV that needs a full 7-piece bed set in one box, and for anyone whose mattress runs up to 14 inches deep including a topper. Someone who wants heavy winter warmth or a comforter that hangs further down the sides of a standard queen mattress should look at the oversized version instead.
Pros and cons
- Comforter and sheet depth matched to a 10-14 inch queen mattress
- Complete 7-piece set: comforter, sheets, shams, pillowcases
- OEKO-TEX certified fill and cover
- Lightweight all-season warmth rather than bulky winter weight
- Needs 24-48 hours after unboxing to reach full loft
- Not intended as a heavy winter comforter
- Oversized queen is a separate purchase if you want more overhang
Performance notes
Fit is the detail that matters here: the fitted sheet's 14 inch pocket and the comforter's calculated drape are matched to a specific mattress depth range, so a mattress with a thick topper can still be covered without buying a separate deep-pocket sheet. The diamond quilting keeps the 240 GSM fill from bunching into one corner during washing, and because the comforter ships compressed under vacuum, the first day or two after unboxing is for the fill to recover its loft rather than an accurate preview of the finished puff.

Frequently asked questions
What mattress depth does the CozyLux queen comforter set fit?
The fitted sheet has a 14 inch deep pocket and the 88 by 88 inch comforter is sized for a 60 by 80 inch queen mattress between 10 and 14 inches deep.
Why does the CozyLux comforter look flat when it first arrives?
It ships vacuum-sealed for shipping, and CozyLux recommends letting it rest 24 to 48 hours, or tumble drying on low with dryer balls, to restore its full loft.
Is the CozyLux comforter warm enough for winter?
It is built as a 240 GSM lightweight all-season comforter rather than a heavy winter duvet, so hot sleepers get warmth without the weight but cold sleepers may want to layer a blanket on top.
