Overview
O'Brien designed the Ultra Screamer as a large platform-style inflatable that puts riders close to the water for spray and extra stability. Padded decks and knuckle-guarded handles cover the comfort side, and a quick connect hook joins the tow line.
Room for several riders and a stable platform are the reasons to choose it for family boating days. The listing gives no total rider weight limit, so the three-person rating needs a sanity check against passenger sizes.
Who it's for
Families and groups behind a capable boat get a roomy tube with handles for everyone. Solo riders and small boats should consider a lighter tube, and anyone planning near-limit loads should confirm the weight rating.
Pros and cons
- Room for three riders
- Stable platform design
- Six handles with knuckle guards
- EVA deck pads
- Rider weight limit not listed
- Large size needs storage room
- Needs a boat that can tow it
Performance notes
A wide platform rides low and resists tipping, so riders feel spray and keep stable footing. Handles with knuckle guards give each person something to hold, and the Boston valve is how the tube is inflated.
