Overview
A 16 ounce bag of chopped walnuts sold under the Amazon Grocery brand, the successor to Happy Belly; packaging may still show the old branding during the changeover, though Amazon states the product itself is unchanged.
This is a plain, pre-chopped walnut meant to skip the cutting board for baking, oatmeal or salad toppings. The bag flags shared-facility risk for peanuts, milk, sesame, soy, wheat and other tree nuts, which is worth checking for anyone with allergies in the household.
- 16 oz bag of chopped walnuts
- Amazon Grocery brand, formerly Happy Belly
- No added salt or seasoning
Who it's for
Fits anyone baking regularly or topping oatmeal and salads who wants walnuts already chopped rather than whole.
Pros and cons
- Pre-chopped, ready for baking or topping
- Generous 16 oz size for the price
- Plain, unsalted flavor not for everyone
- Packaging is mid-transition from Happy Belly branding
- Shared facility with several common allergens
Performance notes
The pieces are cut small enough to sprinkle directly onto oatmeal, yogurt or salads without further prep, and several buyers use the bag specifically for baked goods like cookies and brownies.
