Overview
The Drinkpod DPWPA600FS is a 5 gallon water cooler with a plastic body and a black finish, built to run on standard wall power. It stands roughly 43.7 inches tall on a 17.72 by 10.24 inch footprint.
Amazon's spec sheet marks the install type as under-sink, but the unit's height points to a floor-standing bottle cooler instead, so that field is worth treating with caution. Beyond the listed dimensions and materials there is little else in the data, and Amazon shows only a small handful of ratings for this exact listing.
- 5 gallon capacity
- Plastic construction
- Corded electric power
- 43.7 in tall, black finish
Who it's for
This suits households or small offices that already refill standard 5 gallon water jugs and want a plug-in cooler rather than a plumbed system. It is not a fit for anyone expecting a genuine under-sink installation, since the tall, freestanding-style dimensions argue against that.
Pros and cons
- Holds a full standard 5 gallon jug
- Plastic body keeps it lightweight
- Runs on standard wall power
- Install type listed does not match its height
- Only a handful of ratings exist
- No hot or cold function listed in specs
Performance notes
As a corded electric cooler, the DPWPA600FS draws continuous wall power rather than batteries, which is standard for units that hold and dispense from a 5 gallon reservoir. The plastic housing keeps the unit light relative to steel alternatives, and black is the only color Amazon lists for it.
