Durvet Vitamins and Electrolytes for Poultry 6 Pack

Overview

Durvet packages vitamins and electrolytes for poultry as six 5-gram powder packets, each meant to mix into one gallon of drinking water for six gallons total. Despite being filed as a dog multivitamin, the product and dosing math point to a poultry flock supplement.

The category label and target species field on this listing point to dogs, but the title, description, and packet math all point to poultry: this is a water-additive vitamin and electrolyte mix for a flock, not a pet supplement. Buyers should go by the title and packet count, not the category placement.

• Six 5 gram packets per pack
• Each packet treats one gallon of water
• Powder form, mixed into drinking water
• Vitamins and electrolytes for poultry

Who it's for

Poultry keepers who want a simple water-additive vitamin and electrolyte boost for their flock, useful during heat stress, shipping, or recovery. Not applicable to dog, cat, or other companion animal supplementation.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Each 5-gram packet dissolves into one gallon of drinking water, so the six-pack covers six gallons of treated water for a flock. As a powder mixed at the water source, it depends on birds drinking normally to get a dose, rather than being fed directly.
