Pros and cons

- IAPMO certified for contaminant reduction
- Subscription option removes guesswork on timing
- Filter housing is hard to access in this fridge
- Priced well above generic cartridges
- One reported breakage during removal
Performance notes
As an IAPMO-certified cartridge, it's built to strip chlorine and other contaminants from water passing to the dispenser and icemaker, with the manufacturer recommending replacement roughly every 6 months to keep flow and taste from degrading. Some refrigerators in this line restrict water flow automatically once the filter is overdue, which pushes owners to reorder on schedule.
