Overview
The AMYSPORTS YYT-US-SSinker0.9 is a 15-piece pack of brass fishing sinkers in a Size 7, 1/8 oz weight, listed under Fishing > Sinkers.
Brass sinkers are often chosen over lead for a harder, more sensitive feel that transmits bottom contact and light bites more clearly through the line, and because some states restrict lead tackle. At 1/8 oz each, this size sits toward the light end, suited to finesse presentations rather than heavy water.
- 15-piece pack, brass construction
- Size 7 / 1/8 oz per sinker
Who it's for
Anglers rigging light finesse setups such as drop shot, Texas rig or split shot who want a small, consistent brass weight. Not a fit for anyone needing heavier sinkers for surf casting or deep vertical jigging.
Pros and cons
- Brass construction for a firmer bottom feel than lead
- Consistent 1/8 oz sizing across all 15 pieces
- Only useful for light-line finesse presentations at this weight
- No rig-style detail beyond size and material
Performance notes
The 15-piece pack weighs about 0.06 kg total per the listed item weight, working out to roughly 1/8 oz per piece as labeled. Brass carries a harder density than lead at the same weight, so it tends to click against rock and give a more distinct feel on the retrieve.
