Overview
Faux leather covers the seat of the Joovy 02207 highchair, which is rated to hold up to 50 pounds and weighs 15.4 pounds itself, with a portable design for moving between rooms or storing away.
Faux leather is a common highchair seat choice because it wipes clean of food and spills more easily than fabric, a real factor over months of daily meals. At 15.4 pounds the chair is light enough to lift and carry as the listing's portable label suggests, though the data does not specify whether it folds flat.
- 50 pound weight capacity
- Faux leather seat material
- 15.4 pound item weight
- Portable design
Who it's for
Fits parents who want an easy to clean highchair they can move around the kitchen or house, suited to a child up to 50 pounds. Less ideal for parents specifically wanting a fabric or mesh seat, or a highchair built to fold flat for travel storage.
Pros and cons
- Faux leather seat wipes clean of food easily
- Light at 15.4 pounds for moving around
- 50 pound capacity covers years of use
- Faux leather may not suit buyers wanting fabric or mesh
- Fold-flat storage not specified
Performance notes
The 50 pound weight capacity covers typical highchair years from early solids through toddlerhood. Faux leather resists staining better than cloth seats, and at 15.4 pounds the chair should be manageable to carry between rooms as its portable listing suggests.
