Overview
Not a fast racing boat, this blue mini submarine is a slow diving toy driven by a lithium-ion battery. A handheld remote controls it, and the antenna and USB cable come with it. The title calls it waterproof and the build is metal and plastic.
A complete kit with a rechargeable battery means it is ready for the tub or pool after charging. The limitation is the crawl: the speed is listed in fractions of a mile per hour, and the age fields disagree.
Who it's for
A single patient user who enjoys watching a model dive and surface in calm water is the likely owner. Parents should note that the age field and the kid label conflict. Skip it for rivers, lakes or anyone wanting speed.
Pros and cons
- Remote, antenna and cable included
- Rechargeable lithium-ion battery
- Metal and plastic build
- Compact mini size
- Very low top speed
- Age guidance conflicts
- Run time not listed
Performance notes
Speed and run time follow from the small battery and motor, and the listing states a top speed below one mile per hour. Calm water suits it best. The antenna helps the remote link, but control range is not given.
