Overview
Bentgo's adult bento box holds 5.5 cups across an adjustable 3-to-4 compartment tray, with a leak-resistant silicone seal and a metal locking clip, in navy.
The adjustable divider is what sets it apart from most single-configuration bento boxes: pull it out for three larger compartments, or leave it in for four smaller ones, depending on whether lunch is a full meal or a mix of sides. Bentgo positions this as its adult line, separate from the kids' bento boxes the brand also makes, with a two-tone finish and metal hinges in place of plastic clips.
- 5.5-cup capacity
- Adjustable 3-4 compartment divider
- Silicone seal with locking clip
- Microwave and dishwasher safe tray
Who it's for
Suits an adult packing lunch for the office or gym who wants one box that flexes between a full meal and a snack spread. Not for anyone who wants a large capacity, 5.5 cups is a standard lunch portion, not a bulk meal-prep size.
Pros and cons
- Removable divider switches 3 or 4 compartments
- 5.5-cup capacity fits a full meal
- 2-year manufacturer warranty
- Single box, not a multi-pack
- Metal hinges are a part that could wear
Performance notes
An airtight silicone seal paired with a locking clip is what the leak-resistant claim rests on, sealing each compartment rather than relying on the lid alone. The tray lifts out for microwaving, and both tray and box are listed as dishwasher safe, so cleanup does not require hand washing the seal.
