Overview

The Icepure RWF0900AH is a carbon fiber replacement water filter certified to IAPMO standards and sold in a 3-pack, with no specific appliance compatibility listed.

Carbon fiber block media is denser than loose granular carbon, which typically gives more consistent contact time with the water passing through, though the listing doesn't provide a gallon or month rating to confirm extended life here. IAPMO certification covers plumbing product standards, a different body than NSF but still a recognized third party check. At about 2.5 x 8.1 x 7.8 inches and under a pound each, these are compact cartridges meant to slot into an existing housing.

Who it's for

Buyers who've already matched the RWF0900AH's dimensions and part number to their own filter housing, since no compatible appliance list is given.

Pros and cons

Pros

Carbon fiber block media instead of standard granular carbon
Sold as a 3-pack

Cons

No compatible appliance models listed
No stated filter life in gallons or months

Performance notes

Carbon fiber block filtration relies on a denser, more uniform media than standard granular carbon, which can improve consistency of chlorine taste and odor reduction across the cartridge's life. IAPMO certification adds a third party check on the product, distinct from but comparable in purpose to NSF certification used by other filters in this category.
