Overview

Because it's a first focal plane (FFP) design, the reticle grows and shrinks with the zoom level, so holdover marks stay accurate at any magnification instead of only at one fixed power. The reticle is etched directly onto the glass rather than printed on a floating lens, which Athlon positions as a durability advantage. Extra low dispersion glass is aimed at reducing color fringing around targets in bright conditions.
