Overview
The AGM Rattler TS35-384 is a thermal imaging rifle scope with a 384x288 sensor and a 1024x768 OLED display, built for low-light and zero-visibility hunting conditions. It streams live video over WiFi to a mobile app and runs on two CR123 batteries.
Battery life is the recurring theme in feedback: CR123 cells drain fast enough that most serious users pair the scope with an external USB-C power bank.
- 384x288 thermal detector resolution
- 1024x768 OLED display
- Up to 4.5 hours battery life, extendable via USB-C power bank
- Two CR123 batteries required
Who it's for
Fits hunters and shooters who already understand thermal optics and want WiFi recording without paying for a top-tier detector. Not the pick for someone expecting DSLR-level image quality or a scope that runs all day on stock batteries.
Pros and cons
- WiFi live streaming and recording to a mobile app
- Zoom range from 1x to 8x
- AD mount noted as a solid design touch
- CR123 batteries can drain in as little as 30 minutes of heavy use
- At least one reported unit had a charging fault and missing menu option
- Detection range shorter in practice than sensor specs alone suggest
