Overview
Running on a 12 volt battery platform, the Bosch JS120N is a compact saw weighing 1.68 kilograms with a 9.4 inch cutting capacity. High speed steel components round out a build aimed at portable cutting jobs.
A 12 volt platform keeps the JS120N lighter and more maneuverable than corded or higher voltage saws, trading some raw power for portability. High speed steel is a durable choice for the cutting components, and the 9.4 inch capacity gives a sense of the material sizes it is built to handle.

Performance notes
The 12 volt battery platform and 3.7 pound weight make the JS120N easy to carry and maneuver, which matters more for detail or overhead cuts than for high volume production work.
