Overview
The 6 ounce size of ADAMS Plus Flea and Tick Shampoo with Precor, for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens over 12 weeks old, aimed at treating flea and tick infestations including flea eggs and lice.
This smaller bottle ranks #1 in Dog Flea Control Shampoos on its own listing, separate from the 12 oz version, and carries the same 90-day satisfaction policy. The listing's active ingredient field names coconut extract rather than the pyrethrin-based actives shown on the larger bottle, so buyers wanting the exact insecticide profile should check the physical label before use.
- 6 fluid ounce liquid shampoo
- For dogs, cats, puppies and kittens 12 weeks and older
- Light Fresh scent
- #1 in Dog Flea Control Shampoos on its category listing
Who it's for
Suits owners with a smaller dog or cat, or who want a trial size before committing to the larger 12 oz bottle. Owners treating multiple pets or a large dog over several washes may find the 6 oz size runs out quickly.
Pros and cons
- Smaller 6 oz size for a single pet or trial use
- Approved for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens over 12 weeks
- 90 day manufacturer satisfaction policy
- Smaller volume means fewer washes per bottle
- Active ingredient listed in the data differs from the 12 oz version, worth confirming on the label
Performance notes
The listing describes the same infestation-treatment claims as the 12 oz version, covering fleas, flea eggs, ticks and lice, but the active ingredient data on file for this size names coconut extract rather than the pyrethrin and pyriproxyfen actives shown for the 12 oz bottle. That difference in the seller data is worth checking against the physical label before relying on a specific active ingredient.
