Overview
The Pureplus WFS5300A is an under-sink activated carbon filtration system rated for 22,000 gallons before replacement, built in plastic housing sized 13.7 x 4.5 x 4.5 inches and weighing 3.92 pounds.
A 22,000-gallon rated capacity is high for a filter system, pointing to a long service life before the cartridge needs swapping, though actual months of use will depend on household water consumption. As an under-sink unit it installs into the cold water line rather than sitting on the counter, which calls for some plumbing comfort or a professional install.
