YARELI Calcium Bentonite Clay Powder 2 lb

Overview

YARELI's calcium bentonite clay is sold as a powder for facial masks or a full cleansing bath, packaged at 32 ounces (2 pounds) with no additives and no added scent.

At 32 ounces this is a bulk size meant to last through repeated face masks or, per the name, an occasional full-body clay bath, not a single-use sachet. Bentonite clay masks are typically mixed with water or apple cider vinegar at home rather than sold pre-mixed, so expect some prep before use. The unscented, no-additives positioning points to a straightforward clay product rather than one blended with fragrance or other actives.

• Size: 32 ounces (2 lb)
• Form: clay powder
• Free of additives
• Use: face mask or cleansing bath

Who it's for

Anyone who wants a bulk supply of plain bentonite clay for DIY face masks or a clay bath, and doesn't mind mixing their own paste. Not for someone who wants a ready-to-use, pre-mixed mask straight from the container.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Bentonite clay's detoxifying claim rests on the mineral's ability to bind to oils and impurities on skin as it dries, which is why these masks are typically left on until they harden before rinsing off. Because the powder needs to be mixed with a liquid before use, the actual texture and drying time will vary depending on what you mix it with and how thick you make the paste.
