Dr.Fish Bank Sinkers

Overview

Five lead sinkers, 6 ounces apiece and finished in silver, make up Dr.Fish's DFTWoG6_Q5 pack, totaling about 0.81 kilograms (roughly 1.8 pounds) for the set.

At 6 ounces each, these sinkers sit at the heavier end of the range, meant for surf, deep water, or strong current where lighter weights would drift off bottom. The category label reads Sinkers, which matches the title and specs directly, so no compatibility guesswork is needed here.

• 6 oz per sinker
• 5 sinkers per pack
• Lead material
• Silver finish

Who it's for

Surf or deep-water anglers who need heavier individual weights to hold bottom in current, sold in a 5-pack. Not intended for finesse or light freshwater rigs, where 6 ounces would be far too heavy.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Lead remains the standard sinker material because of its density, letting a compact weight sink and hold bottom without adding much bulk to a rig. At 6 ounces each, these are built to stay put in current or wave action rather than drift, which is the tradeoff surf and deep-water anglers accept for the added weight on the line.
