Overview
A 7-piece fly fishing accessory kit built around a 7.5 inch stainless hemostat, a retractable line clipper, a magnetic net release rated to hold 6.6 lbs, and a tippet spool holder for up to 5 spools.
Aimed at outfitting a vest or sling with the core tools in one purchase rather than replacing a dedicated premium tool.
- 7.5 inch stainless hemostat
- Retractable line clipper
- Magnetic net release rated 6.6 lbs
- 5-spool tippet holder with carabiner
Who it's for
Anglers assembling a first fly fishing kit who want the basics covered at once. Less useful to anyone who already owns quality individual tools and just needs a single replacement piece.
Pros and cons
- Bundles hemostat, nipper, net release, and tippet holder in one kit
- Tippet holder takes up to 5 spools
- Compact and easy to clip to a vest
- Nippers arrive less sharp than dedicated cutters
- Net release magnet is weaker than its rated pull
Performance notes
The hemostat doubles as both a fly holder while tying knots and a hook remover once a fish is landed, while the retractable nipper stays clipped close by on its zinger for trimming tag ends without digging through a bag.
