Overview
A vertical rod rack holding up to 16 fishing rods and reels around a solid wood center post, 13.5 inches in diameter. It assembles without tools and is designed for garage, shed, or boat storage of rods, reels, and tackle boxes.
The main value here is footprint versus capacity: a single vertical post holding 16 rods takes up far less floor space than a wall rack of the same capacity. The wood center post is the structural core, so it is worth knowing this is a stationary storage stand rather than a portable travel case.
- Holds up to 16 rods, reels, and tackle
- Solid wood center post
- 13.5 inch diameter footprint
- Fits ice, surf, spinning, casting, and fly rods
Who it's for
Works for anglers with a growing rod collection who are short on garage or shed wall space, and for anyone storing a mix of rod types together, from ice to fly rods. Not built for transporting rods to and from the water.
Pros and cons
- Holds up to 16 rods and reels in one compact stand
- 360 degree access from any angle
- Stationary stand, not designed for transport
- Wood center post is the structural point, so placement on uneven flooring may affect stability
Performance notes
The 360 degree access design means rods are reachable from any side without turning the whole rack, which matters most when the post is placed away from a wall. The tool-free assembly is aimed at getting it set up quickly rather than requiring it to be bolted down.
