Overview
Washing laundry in an apartment without a full laundry room is what the Equator compact front loader is built for: a freestanding washer with a stainless steel drum, touch controls and an LED display. Adjustable levelling legs and an easy to open coin trap round out the frame.
High spin speed wrings more water out before drying, and the program list covers prewash, heavy, eco and quick loads. Its listed weight makes moving it a job for helpers, and the dispenser handles detergent only.
Who it's for
Apartment dwellers and small households with a closet or kitchen corner for a washer get front load cleaning on a compact frame. Families washing bulky bedding every week should look at a larger capacity drum.
Pros and cons
- High spin speed for drier loads
- Prewash, heavy, eco and quick cycles
- Add-a-sock option for mid cycle additions
- Child lock and delay start
- Warranty terms not listed
- Heavy unit to move or deliver
- Single detergent dispenser, no softener slot
- Listed finish and color conflict
Performance notes
Spin speed governs how much water stays in clothes, so the high top speed shortens drying time for cottons. Foam control and the prewash cycle matter with heavily soiled loads, while overloading the drum reduces tumbling and leaves detergent behind.
