Overview
A cellular modem tuned for Verizon's fastest network feeds this MiFi hotspot, which shares the connection over Wi-Fi with up to dozens of devices or tethers one by USB-C. A removable battery powers it away from outlets and can top up a phone.
Fast mobile broadband with enterprise grade security suits remote work, field teams and travel. It is tied to Verizon service, and the listed warranty is only a month.
Who it's for
Remote workers, first responders and travellers with a Verizon data plan who need several devices online. Customers of other carriers need a hotspot certified for their network.
Pros and cons
- Very fast Verizon network support
- Shares with many devices
- Removable, swappable battery
- Charges a phone in a pinch
- Verizon service only
- Very short warranty listed
- Larger battery sold separately
Performance notes
Speed depends on which Verizon network layer is available, with the fastest band limited to covered areas and LTE as fallback. Newer Wi-Fi lifts throughput when many users share it. Battery life drops quickly with heavy data use and many connected devices.
