Overview
Sliding weights are the point of SANWEAL's Large Round Opening Sinkers, a 120-piece lead pack across five sizes for freshwater or saltwater rigging.
A round opening through the body lets the line pass through rather than being tied off, the standard design for sliding sinker rigs such as Carolina rigs or bottom fishing setups. Selling as an assorted five-size pack covers a range of current and depth conditions without buying sizes separately.
- 120 pieces per pack
- Five assorted sizes
- Lead construction
- Round through-hole opening
Who it's for
Anglers who rig sliding weights for bottom fishing or Carolina-rig style presentations and want a range of sizes on hand. Not for anglers who need a fixed weight or a non-lead sinker.
Pros and cons
- 120-piece pack covers many rigging jobs
- Five sizes included in one purchase
- Round through-hole design for sliding rigs
- Lead material may be restricted in some fishing waters
- No individual weight-per-size breakdown given
Performance notes
The round opening lets the sinker slide freely along the main line, which is what a Carolina rig or slip-sinker setup depends on to let a fish take the bait without feeling the weight immediately. Lead gives consistent density for the size, and the five-size assortment covers lighter and heavier presentations from the same pack.
