Overview
The AMYSPORTS HDBZ-S-50 is a fishing swivel from the brand's HDBZ series, sized S-50 for connecting line to leader or terminal tackle. Amazon's listing does not include material, breaking strain or dimension specs, so check the product photos for sizing before adding it to a rig.
Swivels like this one sit between the main line and leader to cut down on line twist during retrieves, especially with lures or bait rigs that spin. Because no material or strength rating is listed here, it reads as a basic connector rather than a rated piece of terminal tackle, so pair it with a rig where exact breaking strain is not critical.
- Part of AMYSPORTS' HDBZ swivel series
- Sized S-50 per the model number
Who it's for
Anglers who need small connector hardware for freshwater or light rigs and already know the S-50 size they want. It is not the choice for anyone who needs a documented breaking strain before buying, since none is published.
Pros and cons
- Sized to a specific S-50 spec for easy reordering
- Compact connector for basic rigging needs
- No material or breaking strain listed
- No product description to confirm construction
Performance notes
As a swivel, its job is to let the leader spin independently of the main line, reducing twist that builds up from spinning lures or bait swimming in current. With no material or strength figures listed, its performance ceiling for heavier fish is unknown, so treat it as light to moderate duty tackle.
