Overview
Sparkling water drinkers get a countertop SodaStream Terra that turns plain water sparkling in seconds, using a gas cylinder that comes in the box. Water goes into the included dishwasher safe bottle before carbonating.
Home carbonation is the point: plain water turns sparkling with the gas already supplied. The kit is minimal, with a single bottle, so a second bottle helps when several people share it. The listing is sparse, and one spec field even names a different SodaStream model.
Who it's for
People who go through sparkling water quickly and want it on demand at home get a starter kit with gas and a bottle. Those who want syrups, multiple bottles or detailed fizz controls should look at a fuller bundle.
Pros and cons
- Gas cylinder included in the box
- Dishwasher safe bottle
- Plain water sparkling in seconds
- Narrow square footprint on the counter
- Only one bottle included
- Carbonation level settings not listed
- Model name field says Fizzi, not Terra
- Spare gas cylinders sold separately
Performance notes
Fizz level depends on how much gas is pushed into the water and how cold the water is, since cold water holds carbonation better. The included cylinder sets how much water can be carbonated before a refill or swap is needed.
