Overview
Scrubbing porcelain grates is the job this Grillart brush is listed for, using stainless steel wire set in a plastic base. A stainless steel handle with an ergonomic shape completes the tool, and a scraper is the named component.
Porcelain is the only surface the listing names, so it suits owners of porcelain-coated grates specifically. Wire bristles need a check after each use, and the plastic base has no stated heat rating.
Who it's for
A griller with porcelain grates who wants a medium-firmness brush with an ergonomic handle. Owners of other grate types should look for a brush that lists them.
Pros and cons
- Stainless steel handle
- Porcelain only listed
- Wire bristles can loosen
- Plastic base heat rating missing
Performance notes
Stainless wire bristles dig into residue as the brush is pushed along the grate, with the scraper handling thicker deposits. The plastic base sets the heat limit near a fire.
