Overview
The DuraTech DTSW01S is a 12 inch wrench weighing about 13 ounces, sized for garage and workshop use where a longer handle helps with leverage on bigger fasteners.
DuraTech is not a widely known brand outside online tool listings, so buyers are largely going on user ratings rather than brand history. At 12 inches long, this sits in the size range typically used for larger nuts and bolts rather than confined spaces. The listing does not state jaw type or opening capacity, so anyone matching it to a specific fastener should check the product photos before ordering.
- 12 inch overall length
- 0.37 kg (about 13 oz)
Who it's for
Fits DIYers and home mechanics who want one larger wrench for bigger fasteners around the house, garage, or car. Less useful for anyone needing a precise, labeled jaw capacity for professional torque work, since that spec is not listed here.
Pros and cons
- Longer 12 inch handle for extra leverage
- Solid steel weight for a 12 inch tool
- Jaw type and opening size not published
- No description or review text to confirm fit
Performance notes
At 12 inches, the wrench offers more leverage than a compact wrench, which matters most when breaking loose fasteners that have been overtightened or have rusted. The listed weight of about 13 ounces is consistent with solid steel construction rather than a lightweight composite tool.
