ASIN: B09G4J9CH7Model: RCM679Category: Truck Bed Mats
Overview
Not a spray-in coating or a bonded liner, the RCM679 is a loose rubber mat that rolls out over a bare Ram bed floor. Its textured face is skid-resistant and the cut follows the bed contours.
The fitment notes here are the clearest of the Rough Country mats, naming both the Ram and the TRX. The mat suits an owner protecting a bare bed from tools and cargo. It cannot go in a RamBox truck or over a drop-in liner.
Who it's for
Late-model Ram and TRX drivers who tow, haul or carry gear and want rubber under it. A cargo management system, a liner or another bed length rules this mat out.
Pros and cons
- Names Ram and TRX years
- Textured face limits load shifting
- Installs with no tools
- Made from recycled rubber
- Excludes RamBox cargo system trucks
- Excludes drop-in bed liner trucks
- May carry trace fibers from recycled rubber
- Compatible with one bed length only
Performance notes
Texture on the face adds friction so cargo slides less on stops and turns, and the rubber thickness absorbs knocks that would otherwise dent or scrape the bare floor. Weight and the contoured cut hold it in place without fasteners.
