Overview
A rubber coating on the shoulders of each plastic hanger grips clothing, and a swivel hook turns all the way around. The Amazon Basics set comes in black and purple with a space saving shape.
A large count in a uniform style, so a whole closet matches, is the reason to look at them. The limitation is strength: the listing states no maximum load, so heavy coats are a question mark.
Who it's for
Households redoing a wardrobe who want uniform hangers for shirts, dresses and blouses that tend to slip. The thin body gives more room on the rod. Anyone hanging heavy coats should check the load first or look at a sturdier hanger.
Pros and cons
- Rubber coating grips clothing
- Swivel hook turns freely
- Large pack for a full closet
- Space saving shape
- Load limit not listed
- Plastic, not wood or metal
- Color mix is fixed
- Hook size not listed
Performance notes
The rubber coated shoulders add friction so garments resist sliding off. The swivel hook turns to face either direction on the rod, which makes sorting and pulling clothes easier. The plastic frame is thin to fit more items in the same space.
