The Summit SBC683OS rounds out the SBC683 line as its single tap entry, built-in or freestanding with a front-breathing system and a fully finished cabinet for either installation style.
Summit approves it for residential or commercial use, and the included caster set gives freestanding placement the option of mobility without extra hardware. It ships with a complete tap kit covering the CO2 tank and regulator, draft arm, American tap, connection hardware and cleaning kit.
- 5.6 cu ft interior
- Front-breathing for built-in or freestanding use
- Complete tap kit with CO2 tank and regulator
- Digital thermostat
Who it's for
Fits anyone who wants one beer on tap outdoors without stepping up to a twin or triple tap Summit model.
Pros and cons
- Works built-in or freestanding
- Complete tap kit included
- Digital thermostat and automatic defrost
- Caster set included for mobility
- Single tap only
- Kegs not included
Performance notes
Automatic defrost and a digital thermostat manage cooling, and the tap cool system keeps beer cold through the tower on the way to the faucet. The fully finished cabinet is what allows the freestanding option, since a built-in only unit typically leaves its back and sides unfinished.
