Overview
Not a wire cleaning brush, this Hotec pair lists food grade silicone as its included component alongside stainless steel and silicone handles. It is sold as two black pieces.
Silicone is gentle on food and surfaces, and dishwasher safe cleanup is easy. The listing gives no heat rating or tool name, so the intended use is an inference from the bristle width.
Who it's for
A home cook who wants silicone brush tools for food contact. Those cleaning grates need a stiff brush, which this listing does not describe.
Pros and cons
- Food grade silicone
- Stainless steel construction
- Tool type not named
- Heat rating not listed
- Not a grate cleaner
Performance notes
Silicone bristles flex and release liquids without absorbing them, and the stainless steel core gives the tool its shape. The dishwasher safe listing simplifies cleaning, while the heat limit of the silicone is not stated.
