Overview
A back-illuminated full-frame sensor paired with the BIONZ XR processor forms the core of this Sony Alpha kit, delivering detailed stills and high bitrate video. The bundled G zoom covers wide to short telephoto at a constant aperture.
One body and one stabilized zoom cover most everyday and event work, from landscapes to portraits and video. The constant aperture is consistent but less bright than prime lenses for dim rooms.
Who it's for
Event, travel and content creators get a do-everything kit with dual card slots. Sports shooters who need very high burst rates may want a faster body.
