PUR Plus PPT711WAMA Water Filter Pitcher 7 Cup

Overview

This is a PUR countertop water filter pitcher using activated carbon filtration, built from plastic and measuring about 11.3 x 11.3 x 10.9 inches. It weighs roughly 2.14 pounds.

The listed capacity figure for this unit is given in pounds rather than a volume measure, which doesn't translate cleanly to cups or liters, so exact holding capacity is not clear from the available data. What is clear is the format: a plastic countertop pitcher with an activated carbon filtration stage, sized at roughly 11 x 11 x 11 inches. Buyers wanting an exact volume figure should check the listing directly.

Who it's for

Works for anyone wanting a straightforward carbon-filtered countertop pitcher from an established brand. Less useful if you need a confirmed exact volume before buying, since that figure isn't clearly listed here.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Activated carbon filtration reduces chlorine taste and odor as water passes through the cartridge inside the pitcher. At roughly 2.14 pounds and 11.3 x 11.3 x 10.9 inches, it is a countertop unit meant to sit on a shelf rather than fit a narrow fridge door.
