Overview
Rongpro's 9-inch magnetic torpedo level (model 93202-YL) with bubble vials at 45, 90 and 180 degrees, a top viewing window and a stated accuracy of 0.055 inch (about 1mm per meter).
Where several torpedo levels in this size skip an accuracy figure entirely, Rongpro states one directly: 0.055 inch, or roughly 1.0mm over a meter of run. A V-groove on the working edge is built for pipe and conduit, and the long magnetic edge is meant to hold the level in place hands-free rather than just tack it on at one spot. Shock resistance is called out for use at height, where a drop is more likely to matter.
- Accuracy rated at 0.055 in / 1.0mm per meter
- 45/90/180 degree vials
- Top viewing window
- V-groove for pipe and conduit
Who it's for
Suits DIYers and light tradespeople doing wall alignment, hanger spacing, window leveling or general woodworking who want a stated accuracy figure rather than an unrated level.
Pros and cons
- Stated accuracy of 0.055 inch (about 1.0mm/1m)
- Long magnetic edge holds along its length
- V-groove fits pipe and conduit
- Shock-resistant for use at height
- 9-inch length limits it to short, close-range checks
Performance notes
The 45, 90 and 180 degree vials are read through a top window so the level does not need to be tipped to check them, and the magnetic edge is built to hold along its full length rather than at a single point. The V-groove on the working edge seats it on round pipe or conduit.
