Overview
The Graco Pack 'n Play Portable Playard, model 2164118 in the Kolb print, is a mesh-sided travel crib without a bassinet insert or diaper changer, built around folding feet and wheels for a more compact fold than a standard playard.
Unlike the two other Graco playards in this batch, the Kolb has no bassinet insert or diaper changer bullet at all, which makes it the plain, mesh-sided version aimed at naps and play rather than newborn sleep. Despite a review count in the tens of thousands, no actual review text is attached to this listing, so the folding feet, wheels and mesh storage pouch are described from Graco's own bullets only.
- No bassinet insert, just a mesh playard frame
- Mesh storage pouch built onto the frame
- Wheels for repositioning around the home
- Comes with its own carrying bag
Who it's for
Suited to households that just need a mesh playard for naps, play or a grandparent's house, without paying for a bassinet insert they will not use. Parents of a newborn who specifically want a raised bassinet mode should look at Graco's other playards instead.
Pros and cons
- Folding feet and wheels give a more compact fold
- Mesh sides on all sides for ventilation
- Mesh pouch stores wipes and toys on the playard
- Wheels make repositioning around the home easy
- No bassinet insert included for newborns
- No dimensions or weight listed here
- No review text despite a large review count
Performance notes
Without a bassinet stage to manage, this model's fold is simpler: folding feet and wheels compress the frame to a size Graco says is 20 percent smaller than an average playard, and the push-button release collapses it in one motion. Mesh panels run the full height on every side, so the ventilation and visibility Graco advertises come from an open weave rather than small vent cutouts.
